Teichert ‘s attention to quality was recognized by the Sacramento Chapter of the American Public Works Association at its 18th Annual Project of the Year Awards. Teichert received accolades for the Elk Grove Boulevard/SR-99 Interchange project and for the Auburn Boulevard Complete Streets Revitalization, Phase 1 project.

Teichert was one of 15 small and large Public Works agencies throughout the Sacramento region to be singled out for 20 projects throughout Sacramento, El Dorado, Yuba, Yolo, Placer, Nevada and Sutter Counties. Project of the Year winners will be entered for consideration in the 2016 National APWA Awards Program and will compete against projects across the United States
Project of the Year honors are awarded to public agencies based on Division (construction cost and population served) and Category (structures, transportation, parks & trails, environment, historical restoration/ preservation, and disaster or emergency)
