Strong Women, Stronger Communities

Teichert Volunteers Join Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build 2026

This March, Teichert volunteers stepped off the jobsite and onto the build site, joining hundreds of women from across Sacramento for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento’s Women Build 2026. Held throughout Women’s History Month, the event brings together women from all industries and backgrounds to help construct affordable homes for local families in Citrus Heights. No construction experience is required: volunteers work under the guidance of construction professionals alongside future Habitat homeowners, learning hands-on skills while making a direct impact on families in need.

For Teichert, participation in Women Build is a natural extension of the company’s deep-rooted commitment to community service and its belief that strong communities are built by people who show up for each other. Women, especially those heading households and women of color, disproportionately face barriers to stable, affordable housing, and events like Women Build help shine a light on that need while putting real solutions in motion.

Teichert is proud to stand alongside Habitat for Humanity and the Sacramento community in building not just homes, but strength, stability, and hope for families who need it most.
